LARISSA ANN LOUIS is our Partner who heads the Pro Bono Law Practice Group and is part of the Dispute Resolution & Constitutional Law team.  

As head, Larissa Ann plays a pivotal role in shaping our commitment to pro bono work. Larissa is a dedicated advocate for human rights, social justice and stands at the forefront of legal advocacy, fighting for marginalised communities. 

Larissa Ann leads high profile pro bono cases that have profound impact on societal norms and legal precedents. The firm’s strategic litigation aims to create lasting change and uphold the rights enshrined in national and international laws.  

Beyond litigation, Larissa Ann engages in policy advocacy to influence legislation and ensure that laws are in line with human rights standards.

  • Filed various cases against the Government for issuance of Malaysian identification cards (MyKad)
  • Founder, HaKita – pushes for human rights empowerment.
  • Co-Founded Advance Tertiary College’s (ATC) Legal Aid Center and head of Panel of Lawyers.
  • Panel Lawyer at Taylor’s Universit Legal AidCenter.
  • Head of Citizenship Cluster, CSO Platform for Reform
  • Works closely with policymakers and lawmakers to draft and amend legislation that protects and promotes human rights.
